Know More About Vanessa

Vanessa Cubias is a proud graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law and is licensed to practice state law in Texas and immigration law across the United States. Before becoming an attorney, she worked in the immigration field as a paralegal and law clerk, later managing an immigration department at a corporate law firm. Today, she draws on that leadership and legal experience to guide her own immigration practice.
Her commitment to immigration law is deeply personal. Her grandparents fled El Salvador’s civil war and sought asylum in the United States, eventually adjusting their status through NACARA. Years later, Vanessa had the honor of representing them in their naturalization process, securing their U.S. citizenship. Her father’s deportation also profoundly shaped her perspective and fuels her passion for justice. These experiences drive her dedication to helping immigrants navigate some of life’s most difficult legal challenges.
Attorney Cubias’ work has been recognized both by her clients and the legal community. In 2024, D Magazine’s D Best named her one of the top five immigration attorneys in Dallas–Fort Worth.
